MacMod Pro is a mod editor/player. Mods are song files similar to MIDI except the instruments are contained in the songs, eliminating the need for extra hardware to play them. External speakers are recommended but not required.
• MacMod Pro is shareware and is priced at $25 (US currency).
To register, choose ‘Register’ from the Apple menu and click the ‘Print Registration Form’ button. After you fill out the information in the next dialog a registration form will be printed. • If you do not own a printer, write your name, address, e-mail address, system version, and ID number (displayed on the Registration dialog) on a piece of paper and mail it with the registration fee to: Ian Mouton, 102 Kirkwood CT, Sugar Land, TX 77478 (USA).
◊ When I receive a registration fee I send the key to the person's e-mail address. If I do not get a reply after three days I send it via postal mail.
What's new in version 3.22?

I have completely redone all of the code to optimize MacMod Pro for speed, efficiency, and stability. Many new features have been added and the interface has been redesigned for ease of use and for future enhancements.
Some new features are:
1) enhanced interface
2) open up to 100 mods (memory permitting)
3) much faster keyboard window
4) alpabetize the music list
5) Instrument editor that supports filter plugs
6) new open dialogs with 'Add' button
7) popup menus for format in open and save dialogs
(instead of Import/Export menu items in the File menu)
8) shuffle music playing
9) enhanced instrument info dialog
10) enhanced toolbar
11) many bug fixes
If you have any comments or SUGGESTIONS please let me know.
• There is no prefs file or other files required. This should eliminate any confusion or problems faced by previous versions. MacMod Pro saves its preferences internally. You can delete any prefs or help files from previous MacMod Pro versions.
Some instrument editing plugs will be made shortly. If you can program, ask me for a sample toolkit on how to create your own plugs.
